Routes in Visegrád mountains

Ezen a kiránduláson felkeressük a Visegrádi-hegység kevésbé ismert területeit. Pilisszentlélek katlanjából ereszkedünk le a Duna partjára, Esztergomba, felfedezzük a környék kilátópontjait, és egy jóleső ebédet is elfogyaszthatunk, miközben az egykori királyi központ panorámájában gyönyörködünk.

Visegrád az ország egyik legnépszerűbb kirándulóhelye, ahol számos túraútvonal várja a természetjárókat. Családi túránk a Nagy-Villám környékét mutatja be, a gyönyörű panorámák mellett kevésbé ismert útvonalakat is útba ejtünk.

The mountain range surrounding the Danube Bend is famous for a hiking trail, the Spartacus Hunting Trail, which winds through the secluded corners of the Visegrád Mountains crossing steep slopes horizontally. This trail, known for its natural forest scenery and panoramic cliffs, is complemented on this classic circular route by the misty wilderness of the Szent László valley dotted with fords.

One of the most beautiful yet less known lake complexes in the Danube Bend offers tranquility to visitors with its human-scale, thoughtfully built waterfront paths and forest trails.

The Rám Loop, linking the mystical Rám Hill, the exciting Rám Gorge, and the spectacular Dobogókő lookout terrace, is a 12-kilometer hiking route that no parent will regret if they want to introduce their child around 10 years old to hiking.

A particularly difficult route where trail running should not be taken literally on the steeper ascents. Expect quite a bit of walking and even more breathtaking trails, views, and moments. 

Some spend several weekends hiking and exploring around Visegrád to discover its landmarks and sights. Bet this can all fit into an hour and a half! Let's run, the views and countless attractions are guaranteed.

Perhaps few would argue that Prédikálószék is among the places with the most beautiful views in the country. The popularity and traffic of this already well-known destination only increased after the lookout opened in 2016. The 639-meter high point of the Visegrád Mountains is typically approached from two directions – the more adventurous, much tougher route leads from Dömös via the Vadálló stones. This time, we run the easier route starting from the Kis Rigó restaurant on the edge of Pilisszentlászló. 

The area is rich in settlements with a fairytale-like location. Pilisszentlászló definitely ranks high from this perspective; starting from here, an experience is guaranteed wherever you go. If we combine the adventurous creek crossings of the Apátkúti Valley with the Spartacus Trail, which was opened in autumn 2015 and was previously accessible only to a narrow circle as a hiking path, we may get one of the most enjoyable routes in the Visegrád Mountains.
