I started thinking about what would be the perfect hiking trail near the capital that includes everything that could interest a little boy. Since for my sons the Rám Gorge was their first and still defining hike at around 6-7 years old, it was obvious that it should be included.
I thought that if we start from Dobogókő and return there, we'll reach at least five very good viewpoints, one of which, Rám Hill, is a huge, standalone, and spectacular rock summit. Also, I thought a child's imagination would definitely be intrigued by the mystique surrounding Rám Hill and the many legends connected to the area, so the final route became Dobogókő – Rám Hill – Rám Gorge – Három-forrás Saddle – Dobogókő.
