Our circular route visits the most beautiful section of the famous Cuha Valley, offering a sporty, all-day recreational trip from Csesznek. Along the way, you can discover the rocks and fords of the Cuha stream, and the viaducts of the unusually aligned railway line.

The route is a great opportunity for visitors of the Mátraverebély-Szentkút National Shrine to deepen the prayers said at the shrine and their spiritual renewal. A quarter of an hour's drive from the shrine, in the wild forests, ravines, and vast open slopes of the Cserhát, you can enjoy the proximity and beauty of untouched nature.

In the valleys of the central part of Vértes, we find villages with a stormy past significantly reshaped by the winds of disappearance. During our hike, we visit the charming Swabian peasant houses of Vérteskozma, the chapel of Kőhányáspuszta, and the robust castle walls of Várgesztes through woodland walks.
