Declaration on accessibility
Our website and mobile applications are designed in accordance with the requirements of the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformance level AA.
Method used for valuation
Outdooractive AG endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the applicable legal provisions on accessibility. Our aim is to enable all people - regardless of physical or cognitive limitations - to access our content and functions.
The accessibility of our services is assessed on the basis of recognized standards and systematic testing processes:
- This is based on the developer specification "Barrierecheck Pro" from the agency anatom5 from 2020, which describes the requirements for accessible web applications in detail.
- As part of continuous development, we check new or revised components with Google Lighthouse, an established tool for analyzing accessibility in the frontend.
- In addition, colors, contrasts and controls (especially buttons) were revised based on the current Google M3 guidelines and adapted to the requirements of WCAG 2.1 - Conformance Level AA.
- This systematic approach ensures that our product meets the current standards for accessible websites and is continuously optimized.
Non-accessible content
Not fully accessible:
- Interactive map elements
- Graphical evaluations (profiles, diagrams)
- Complex control elements and keyboard navigation in certain cases

The arbitration procedure is free of charge. You also do not need legal assistance.
You can find all the information about the conciliation procedure on the conciliation body's website. There you can read how the conciliation procedure works and how to apply for conciliation. You can also submit the application in plain language or in German sign language.
