Two of the Carpathian alluvial basins are located in Hungary, known as the Great Plain and the Little Plain. The two are separated by the Transdanubian Central Mountains. Here we find the westernmost member of the Eurasian steppes, which, unlike their eastern counterparts, owe their formation to the action of rivers. The Danube and the Tisza are two of the most important rivers in these plains, alongside therivers and the Danube, with their many backwaters and alluvial cones. The landscape is dotted with protected Kunhalm, a species of fish, alongside wind bogs and various bogs. The country's chain units form part of the Northwestern Carpathians and Eastern Alps.They include the North-Hungarian Central Mountains, which extend from the Visegrád Mountains to theto the Tokaj-Zemplén hills, and in the west from the Alpokalja the Kőszeg and Sopron hills. Among our clod mountains, the Transdanubian Massif from Lake Balaton to theBudapest, and the Mecsek Mountains in the south-west. There are numerous volcanic and karst formations in the mountains, as well as lookouts and castles. The foothills of the mountains are home to a variety of vineyards and vineyards of different varieties. In our country, it is found in the Transdanubian hills and the western Hungarian periphery in the south-western part of the country.
