This rating system ensures a high-quality hiking experience by taking into account the attractiveness of the landscape, the infrastructure and the characteristics of the routes.

Volunteers at the service of walkers
The Club Vosgien and its volunteers have been maintaining and marking 20,000 km of footpaths in the Vosges Massif for over 140 years.
The Club Vosgien also publishes hiking maps and guides, which are available from numerous sales outlets, and runs chalets, refuges and shelters for hikers.
The Club Vosgien works closely with the Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre (French Hiking Federation), which is responsible for a large network of footpaths in the Vosges and guarantees the Grande Randonnée ®GR certification of routes throughout France.
