Nature trails in Alsace

The Witches' Path is a fun route especially designed for children aged 4 to 10 years accompanied by their parents. It is not accessible to strollers or mountain bikes.

The “Kilometer Zero” was located during World War I at the Swiss border to France. An interesting educational trail follows the traces of the French, German and Swiss front.

The path leads along routes of the nature park past all the important sights: The Augraben, the building of the Rhine exhibition, the building of the fish farm, the observation towers with views over the ponds, the main building, which houses the administration of the Petite Camargue Alsacienne, as well as outbuildings for the researchers. If you are lucky, you will also see the Highland cattle grazing in the meadow.

Der archeologische Rundwanderweg auf den Anhöhen von Ernolsheim und Saint-Jean-Saverne verbindet die wichtigsten Anlagen protohistorischer und historischer Zeit, die zur Überwachung der nördlichen Übergangstrasse der Zaberner Vogesen errichtet wurden. Archäologische Forschungen und Denkmalschutz sichern das historische Interesse einer Besichtigung. Le circuit archéologique des hauteurs d'Ernolsheim et de Saint-Jean-Saverne relie les principaux sites de crête, protohistoriques et historiques, aménagés au cours des temps pour la surveillance et le contrôle de la voie de passage des Vosges la plus septentrionale du seuil de Saverne. Tous ces sites ont fait l'objet de recherches archéologiques et de mesures de protection officielles, garantes de l'intérêt historique de la visite.
