Terminée aujourd'hui après être partis d'Hendaye suite à la velodyssée le 26 mai, je me suis arrêté à Argelès pour entamer l'eurovelo 8 ensuite Le début du parcours commence tranquillement, ça permet de bien se mettre en jambes avant d'attaquer les gros morceaux qui n'ont pas finit de s'enchaîner ! Je l'ai fait en vtc sacoches (15kg~) en dormant en camping exclusivement Les cols espagnols méconnus dont le Burdincurutcheta sont superbes, mais sacrément durs ! Le lendemain j'ai enchaîné avec Ichère en apero, Marie Blanque en plat de résistance (pour moi le plus dur col du tracé) et Aubisque en dessert, l'étape qui m'a le plus marqué je crois.. Beaucoup de cols costauds suivirent : Tourmalet, Aspin, Azet.. Et.. Personne sur les routes à cette époque, un vrai kiff !! Petit coup de cœur aussi sur le col de la Quillane long de ses 48km, petit pourcentage mais vraiment usant, zéro circulation par contre, on traverse des gorges c'est l'top Le dernier col fut le Xatard, pareil zéro circulation (à part 3 bouquetins qui m'ont dit bonjour) , et vue sur mer par temps dégagé, la montée se fait dans un paysage arboré magnifique.. Conclusion : Super parcours mais petit bémol sur les grandes portions de nationale traversées sur les 200 derniers km, dont la descente à partir de Font Romeu qui fut un vrai calvaire 😄
