Accommodation
Bad Sülze is located in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on the edge of the "Flusslandschaft Peene" nature park. The town is known for its historic old town with well-preserved half-timbered houses from the 18th century. Equally impressive are the numerous lakes in the region, such as Lake Kummerow or Lake Ribnitz.

Tourist attractions include the local history museum, which is located in an old warehouse and provides information about the history of the town, as well as Semlow Castle - a baroque manor house surrounded by a beautiful park.

In terms of cultural highlights, Bad Sülze offers a variety of concerts, theatre performances and exhibitions throughout the year. A special highlight is the annual town festival in summer with live music on several stages and regional delicacies.

Culinary Bad Sülze has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional cuisine with fresh fish from the nearby lakes or enjoy traditional dishes such as kale or Labskaus.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are many possibilities: Hiking and cycling in the surrounding area, canoeing on the rivers or fishing at one of the lakes. In winter, the region also offers opportunities for ice skating and skiing.

If it rains, there are many indoor activities such as the local history museum or the Peenetal Nature Park House with interactive exhibitions on the flora and fauna of the nature park.

The most beautiful spot in Bad Sülze is undoubtedly the historic old town - stroll through the narrow streets and marvel at the well-preserved half-timbered houses from times gone by.

Bad Sülze is definitely worth a trip for anyone who enjoys history, culture and outdoor activities. We hope this travel guide has given you a good overview of this charming little town!

Southern cycling pilgrimage route by Terry
