Topp20 in Hemsedal

Topp20 is Hemsedal's hiking program, featuring marked mountain trails of varying difficulty. Whether you're looking for easy hikes for children or longer, more challenging routes for older kids and adults, there’s something for everyone.
If you're heading deep into the mountains or areas without cell coverage, we recommend using a topographic map. The Hemsedal Hiking Map 1:25,000 is available for purchase at the Tourist Office and local sports stores. For longer or higher-altitude hikes, bringing a compass is also advisable.
Please remember that leash laws apply regardless of where you're hiking, and we kindly ask that everyone respects our four-legged friends grazing in the area.
In September, livestock roundup takes place in Hemsedal. If you come across an area where this is happening, please show consideration by stepping or driving aside, and avoid scaring the animals.
