The Medebacher Bergweg connects. Namely the Hanseatic town of Medebach with all its districts. Like a string of pearls, the nine idyllic villages are hiked through one after the other.

The Briloner Kammweg is often referred to as a quality path and leads to 49 km through breathtaking landscapes of Brilon.

The Uplandsteig leads once around the community of Willingen in the northern Hessian Upland. The Diemelsteig opens up a particularly scenic part of the Diemelsee Nature Park – the Diemelsee itself and the gentle low mountain range landscape located south of it with its constant alternation of forests, meadows, and fields. The start and end point Heringhausen, directly located at the Diemelsee, also offers hikers relaxation and recreation before and after the nature experience of Diemelsteig. Many of the places touched have been able to preserve their typical and original character to this day. For water sports enthusiasts, the Diemelsee has been a popular holiday destination for decades. With the newly designed and certified in 2008 and recertified in 2011 Diemelsteig, hikers gain access to another walkable region.
