Along the path, 6 km from the village, the shrine of Notre-Dame des Miracles attracts thousands of visitors and pilgrims.
According to legend, around 850 AD, the Virgin Mary appeared to Spanish sailors caught in a violent storm. To thank her for saving them from certain shipwreck, they built an oratory on the spot indicated by Mary to commemorate the miracle.
