A signposted cycle route following the traces of the area's past. From Riez "la romaine", the oldest town in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, ride through the lavender fields to Puimoisson and then Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.

Climb up to the plateau via the famous "16%" then enjoy the view of the Sainte-Croix lake during a well-deserved break. Then join Roumoules and its castles, before going back down to Riez.

Recommended period: spring and autumn. Itinerary not recommended during the summer season because of the high traffic and the high temperatures.
