Walking itinerary Esparron de Verdon "Le Quartier

Poteau Plage de Saint-Julien (367 m) - At the end of the car park, climb the few steps and follow the path along the old Verdon canal (signposted). Pass upstream of the water intake and continue on the flat path between the lake and the canal. Pass in front of the stone bridge of La Barade and continue on this historic path to the end of the canal (tunnel closed by a gate).Post Rise to the plateau overlooking the lake. After a pleasant panoramic crossing above it, join a track.Post Balcon du lac (385 m) - Go down the track on the left to its end, cross the canal and reach the edge of the lake. Go along it on the right. Pass the "Ponton du lac" and continue until you find the old canal. Follow it until you reach the building of Le Quartier.Post Le Quartier (370 m) - Return by the track going up to the right (markings). At the next intersection, go straight on and join point 3. Return to the start by the route taken on the way out.
