That's right! There's a whole 1,100 km of mountain bike routes here waiting to be discovered by you! Between the Alpes de Haute-Provence and the Var, the VTT-FFC Provence Verdon site offers 52 marked mountain bike routes between the Plateau de Valensole and its lavender fields, turquoise lakes (Lake Esparron, Lake Artignosc, Lake Montpezat) and the famous Verdon gorges. In this gorgeous corner of Provence, everyone can find a circuit to match their skills and fitness, from a gentle ride to something more extreme.
Starting from the spa town of Gréoux-les-Bains, the village of Riez, or Quinson at the entrance to the Basses Gorges, travel by bike allows you to discover the postcard-perfect Provencal villages and the hilly landscapes of the Haut-Var. Magnificent panoramas are assured, especially around the Sainte-Croix lake and the Digne Pre-Alps!

Hiking the trails of Haute-Provence in the Luberon
To the west of the Durance, mountain bikers can use the routes of the Provence Luberon Lure mountain bike area. In Haute-Provence, more than 100 km of marked trails are available for mountain biking in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park and the land of the writer Jean Giono.
From the easy to the more technical and physical, the departures of the 8 circuits (of around 5 to 30 km) are spread out between Manosque, the towns, and perched villages such as Villeneuve, Sainte-Tulle, Pierrevert, Corbières, or even Volx, famed for its olive oil.
