Running in the Allgaeu Region

An extensive trail running tour through almost all the vegetation zones of the Allgäu high Alps. From narrow hiking trails to technically demanding scrambling and high-altitude flights, everything is included.

The technically quite easy running route describes a route close to the river from its source in the Allgäu to the city center of Augsburg (Swabia), where the Wertach flows into the Lech.

A fun run in Rohrmoos' back of beyond that takes in the summit of the Piesenkopf (1,630 m) and some superb views over both the Nagelfluhkette and Hoher Ifen - weather permitting.
