Sie bietet somit fast alles, was die Schwäbische Alb landschaftlich zu bieten: Streuobstwiesen, die typischen Felsformationen, tolle Ausblicke, technische anspruchsvolle Downhills (vor allem nach Geislingen hinunter), steile Anstiege und ruhige Hochplateaus. Start und Ziel ist jeweils an einem Bahnhof: Kirchheim (Teck) ist Endstation der S 1 (Kirchheim-Herrenberg) im VVS und Geislingen liegt an der Strecke Stuttgart - Göppingen - Ulm.
