One of the top routes in the Alps with an unforgettable panorama. At almost 3000 m altitude, you are level with the glacier on the Ortler and can hardly get enough of the magnificent views. A comparable trial descent with over 2000 meters of altitude is not found so quickly again.

A very scenic mountain bike route through the Sarntal Alps. The demands are high, as not only steep climbs have to be managed but also some carrying and pushing sections that make the entire tour somewhat more challenging. On this route, you will meet only a few bikers and share many sections solely with hikers. A highlight is certainly the stunning view down to Durnholzer See and the namesake village Durnholz.

In addition to the charming landscape of the picturesque high valley, the second stage of the Puster Valley cycle route also offers some cultural highlights such as the Archaeology Museum in St. Lorenzen or the historic Mühlbacher Klause at the western end of the Puster Valley. The route profile, even though we almost continuously follow the course of the Rienz, is characterized by a constant up and down.

Maestro di Croda Rossa: Die große Gaisl-Umrundung by Benjamin
