Sehr schöne und panoramareiche Wanderung! Als Tipp: man kann gut den Gipfel von der Seite besteigen (wird aber an Stellen recht steil) und dann den Abstieg über die andere Seite gehen. Das GPX hat uns auf der rechten Seite zur roten Wand kurz vom Weg abgeleitet und durch Gestrüpp geführt.

Wunderschöne, nicht zu schwere 6 Tagestour mit Gehstrecken zwischen 4 - 6 Stunden mit einer 7,5-stündigen Ausnahme (Strecke von Birnlückenhütte zur Plauener Hütte über das Hl. Geist-Jöchl).
Am ersten Tag kann man die Warnsdorfer Hütte auslassen und gleich vom Krimmler Tauernhaus zur Birnluckenhütte aufsteigen.
Der Klettersteig über die Gamsscharte bei der Richterspitze ist nicht allzu schwer (B/C), man sollte trotzdem Klettersteigset und Helm mitnehmen.
Die bessere 5-stündige Alternative zur Strecke von der Zittauerhütte zurück zum Krimmlertauernhaus (von der erst um 15:30 und 17:00 der Bus zurück nach Krimml geht) ist der Abstieg von der Zittauer Hütte ins wilde Gerlostal und von dort über den romantischen Leiterklammensteig zurück nach Krimml.
