Flyover Previews
The Flyover preview is a 3D map-based feature of our platform that gives you a clear view of your routes and their surroundings.

We are continually working on making route planning even better and more intuitive. That's why we've developed a feature that shows you the details of your routes in advance: Flyover preview.
Our vivid Flyover preview are based on Cesium technology. We combine this data set with satellite images and add additional information from the platform, such as the elevation model, and the trail network.
By combining various data and technologies, we achieve a unique result for outdoor activity routes of all kinds.
How to use the Flyover preview feature:
The Flyover preview feature can be used either on a desktop or laptop via the website or from a smart device running our application.
Using Flyover preview from a desktop or laptop computer:
- Select the content that you wish to preview in 3D.
- The Flyover preview is available in the 3-dot menu in the action bar of the detail page.
Using Flyover preview from the iOS or Android app:
- Select the content you wish to preview in 3D.
- The Flyover preview is available in the 3-dot menu in the title bar.
Flyover preview vs. Flyover video
The Flyover preview uses the current map and is therefore always up-to-date, as it is recalculated with each request.
It is therefore not possible to save a preview in the media gallery of a route, download a preview or share a preview. You will need to use the Flyover video function instead.
