Horse rides in Austria

2-day route with overnight stay at the Werfneralm. Dining options available at the Ebenforstalm. The path goes 800 m across an alpine pasture with cows. The cows are accustomed to horses. Afterwards, it continues to the Werfneralm. Registration is required for overnight stay at the Werfneralm. Alternative return ride and catering options can be requested when booking.

The riding route (line route) starting from Jaidhaus in Molln/Breitenau leads into the heart of the Kalkalpen National Park. It mostly runs on forest roads - with a short lead section at Steyrsteg.

3- or 4-day horse riding route in the Kalkalpen National Park with various starting options and route variants. Each variant includes 2 led sections (each about 50 meters long, narrowest point 1 meter wide) and the path passes over a cow pasture (about 800 meters). The cows are accustomed to horses and riders.

Through the 3-country corner Switzerland / Italy / Austria in 6 days High on horseback, we cross breathtaking mountain saddles and ride through picturesque valleys.  The route is lined with imposing mountains, romantically wild rivers, and historic castles as well as monasteries. From the Lower Engadin into the Münstertal, then into the Vinschgau and back again.

The beautiful riding route starts at the Knappenhaus in Unterlaussa and runs the first 4.5 kilometers along the Hengstpass state road L550 (motorcycle traffic on weekends!) to the Holzgraben junction. From here, you enjoy pure natural idyll and ride over the Holzgraben to the Dörflmoaralm and further over the Langfirst to Haslersgatter. From there, it goes downhill again on narrow side roads and pull paths over the Wurbauerkogel to Roßleithen near Windischgarsten.
