Das interessanteste Teilstück dieser Rundtour ist für mich die Abfahrt von Arosa nach Tschiertschen. Landschaftlich eindrucksvoll und zugleich romantisch. Der Einstieg erfolgt unmittelbar von der Bergstation der Hörnli-Bahn. Es folgen zunächst einige Traumhänge, bevor die Route dann neben einem Bach verläuft und schließlich in einem Waldpfad mündet. Die letzten Höhenmeter legt man auf der Piste bis zur Talstation des Sessellifts in Tschiertschen zurück. Wer die Tour mit dem Lift in Richtung Parpan fortsetzen möchte, sollte daran denken, dass die Lifte in Tschiertschen einige Wochen früher als in Arosa/Lenzerheide schließen. In diesem Fall bleibt nur der Bus, entweder nach Parpan oder nach Chur und von dort mit dem Zug nach Arosa.
