Percorso suggestivo, anche se caratterizzato da una prima parte particolarmente in ombra. Lo sbocco sul soleggiato pianoro finale ripaga della fatica e del freddino patito. Monti circostanti leggermente sotto le aspettative.

Giro fatto in estate. Taglia una parte del giro ad anello dei sette laghi. il taglio in questione è un prato ripido che arriva tra le due cime. la maggior parte del giro cmq è senza ombra. acqua crema e cappellino consigliati. la discesa del ritorno ha una parte di ghiaione un po' ostica. nessun punto particolarmente esposto (soffro di vertigini)

Bereits mehrfach als Skitour gemacht. wunderschöne Strecke, Wahnsinnsaussicht von oben. Bei angespannter Lawinenlage kommt es im steilen Waldgürtel häufiger zu kleineren Abgängen. Diese Lawinenkegel müssen dann schonmal "überkraxelt" werden. Zudem kann ich mich nur den Warnungen von Robert Wick anschließen! Der hinterlegte Track (= Sommerweg) ist sicher nicht die beste Wahl, da er im Gipfelbereich deutlich zu weit westlich verläuft und so unmittelbar an einigen gefährlichen Löchern direkt vorbei führt. Der Skitourentrack bei Swiss Topo hält sich hier auch eher östlichen Rand und bleibt damit auch konstant unter 30 Grad Steigung. Als Scheeschuhgänger bevorzugt man ohnehin eher direkte Anstiege und meidet steilere Querungen. @Toggenburg-Tourismus, bitte nehmen sie Anpassungen vor. Der SAC warnt im übrigen auf seiner Seite vom Loch bei 2'737'750, 1'224'635. Dieses ist auf der Swiss Topo Karte auch eingezeichnet, bei Outdoor Active erwartungsgemäß jedoch nicht.
