Very beautiful and easy alpine climbing tour in mostly solid, rough limestone. The turquoise-coloured reservoir provides a beautiful backdrop. The route is not often climbed, but spectators from the busy lake circuit are a certainty. Intermediate protection and belays are mostly self-belayed, there are only a few NHs.

Zusätzlich zum Parkplatz Golmer Bergbahn gibt am Beginn des Tracks (S) ebenfalls Parkmöglichkeiten. Von hier könnte man mit dem Bike bis zur Hütte fahren, wenn es leider nicht verboten wäre. Am Zustieg zur Neierscharte ist ein bestens eingerichteter Klettersteig. Allerdings einige B,C und vielleicht sogar eine D Stelle (Handschuhe sind hier für den Klettersteig sehr praktisch). Die Klettertour folgt ziemlich genau dem Track. Die Wegfindung sollte aber nicht unterschätzt werden (alpiner Charakter). Dafür sind ausreichend Sicherungen vorhanden - auch bei den Ständen. Wir haben daher keine mobilen Zwischensicherungen gebraucht. Bis auf einen Stand, über ein sehr gutes Köpferl mit Bandschlingen. Die Felsqualität war insgesamt überraschend gut. Die Tour sehr abwechslungsreich und lohnend. Abstieg über den Westgrad sollte nicht unterschätzt werden. Ist aber sehr gut machbar. Wir haben hier einige Male abgeseilt (60M Einfachseil).
