Afterwards, it continues over a black mountain path, the so-called Winter Alpine Trail, along the ridge to Wimbachkopf and to the Wedelhütte.

Kurzer Klettersteig, der Anfang bis zum D/E Teil ist enttäuschend und eher langweilige Hangquerung. Als Solo-Klettersteig gut, wenn man mal D/E kennenlernen will, sonst als Verlängerung des Pfeilspitzwand Klettersteigs (meine Variante). Dann muss man noch ordentliche Kraftreserven haben, um den D/E Teil sicher zu bewältigen.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Eine so schöne und abwechslungsreiche Route habe ich bisher noch nicht entdeckt: Senkrecht hoch; Quergänge mit wenig Tritten, wo man den Fels lesen können muss; kurze Verschnaufpausen durch märchenhaften Wald; dann die Herausfordernde Krux, welche nach der ganzen Kletterei vor allem eine Frage der Ausdauer in den Armen und Kraftschonender Fußplatzierung ist.
Standplatzschlinge für einen selbst und Rucksack ist unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Schön angelegter, anspruchsvoller Steig. Heute (7.9.21) waren alle Tritte und die Leiter fest verankert.
Zwei Stellen sind etwas knifflig. Aber die sind in den Karten auch dementsprechend kategorisiert.
In meinen Augen ist der Steig nicht für Kinder geeignet.
