Which via ferrata is the most spectacular in Carinthia?

The most spectacular via ferrata in Carinthia leads through the imposing south face of the Säuleck in the Hohe Tauern. The summit of the Säuleck rises majestically at an altitude of 3079 metres above sea level. This via ferrata is well secured, but without ladders and pegs, which makes it technically demanding. The approach through the picturesque Dösental valley to the Arthur-von-Schmidhaus is an experience in itself. Due to the length of the ascent, an overnight stay at the refuge is recommended. The descent then follows the normal route, so that climbing enthusiasts can experience an unforgettable adventure in a breathtaking alpine setting.

Murmelsteig - Falkert by Mirtl
September 23, 2025 · Community

Heilkraft Waterfall Via Ferrata by Stefan
September 07, 2025 · Community
Attraktiver Klettersteig, kurz, aber tolle Routenführung! Klassifizierung passt.
