Very beautiful, varied, but demanding via ferrata in the Dolomites starting from the Karerpass over the Masarè and Rotwand via ferrata.

The route over the Laurenzi via ferrata is divided into two days with an overnight stay at the Tierser Alpl hut. This mountain region of the Rosengarten can still be described as the quiet side of the Dolomites. The Laurenzi via ferrata is one of the more difficult via ferratas in the Dolomites. Not only because two sections have difficulty level D, but also because the cable protections are only installed at really exposed spots. In some places, the ridge crossing is quite airy.  A beautiful gem is the Antermoia Lake, and with the overall easy ascent of Cima Scalieret we look over the huge massif of the Rosengarten with its rock faces rising far into the sky. An experience is the descent through the Grasleiten Valley to the Grasleiten Hut, which has stood above a gorge since 1887. Not only the huge rock walls impress but especially also the location of the Grasleiten Hut. The hut itself is also worth a visit due to its beautiful interior decoration (the rooms entirely made of wood, ancient freestanding tiled stove). The nature park house at the starting point should also be visited.

On this circular route or crossing of the Latemar group on trails and paths and also via a via ferrata, you get to know the beauties of this mountain range often lying in the shadow of the Rosengarten mountains. The Latemar group shows two different faces: from the north side extremely rugged with fascinating rock peaks, rock spires, rock towers, and seemingly endlessly sky-reaching rock walls, and from the south side with widely extending basins sculpted by ice age glaciers and the easily climbable mountain peaks above. The generally easy via ferrata leads mostly over rock bands, narrow paths, and through gorges from Forc. dei Campanilli to Biv. E. Rigatti.
