Every year in August, the Maddalene Sky Marathon takes place in Val di Non, Trentino. The 6th edition held on August 24, 2014, was valid for the Skyrunner® Series Italy 2014 circuit and the only stage of the Trentino Alto Adige Regional Skyrunning Championship.

The official route of the Brixen Dolomiten Marathon, the running event with breathtaking start-to-finish views.

Starting from Kurtatsch, it goes uphill over the Roman road to Fennhals. The descent is initially off-road before you return to the starting point via the road.

The trail run leads from Brixen up to the pilgrimage church St. Cyrill, where you have a beautiful view of the Eisack Valley and the surrounding mountains. From there, it goes back down through forest paths to the starting point.
