A very nice circular trail run (or hike) in an awesome setting that takes in the main peaks of the Allgäu's 'Hörnergruppe'.
Neben den geschafften Höhenmetern sind auch die Suche nach Ruhe und die Nähe zur Natur auf den Trailrunning-Runden im Allgäu von Bedeutung. Besonders entspannend ist das genussvolle Trailrunning, Jogging und Laufen auf mittlerem Höhenniveau zu einer der knapp 200 bewirtschafteten Hütten, die man hier Alpen oder Almen nennt. Der Nebelhorn-Berglauf ist beispielsweise eine Trailrunning-Tour für ambitionierte und ausdauerorientierte Läufer, Outdoorsportler, Trailrunner und Jogger. Der weit über die Grenzen des Allgäus hinaus bekannte Voralpenmarathon lässt hingegen Marathon- und Ausdauer-Herzen höher schlagen.

Abwechslungsreiche Strecke und schöne Trails. Da direkt in der Nähe bietet es sich an den Tag danach noch in der Sauna in Nesselwang ausklingen zu lassen.
