The former narrow-gauge railway line between Trieste and Porec, which operated between 1902 and 1935, and was known as Porečanka. It is now one of the most popular cycling trails.

The Drau Cycle Path is one of only 4 cycle paths in Europe classified with 5 ADFC stars. It is the flagship of the Carinthia cycling region and runs cross-border from South Tyrol (Toblach), Upper East Tyrol, Carinthia, Slovenia to Legrad in Croatia.

Varied and relaxing long-distance bike route in short stages allowing sufficient enjoyment from Istria via the islands of Cres and Lošinj to Zadar. Further via the islands of Ugljan and Pašman to Biograd na Moru and along the coast to Šibenik with a visit to Krka National Park. Along the coastal road to Trogir and via Split finally to the islands Brač and Hvar and back to the destination Split.
