The 10 most beautiful mountain biking trails in Styria
Mountain biking in Schladming-Dachstein
The Schladming-Dachstein region has the largest interconnected network of mountain bike trails in Styria. There is something for everyone, especially for single trail fans. The most exciting descents can be found on the Reiteralm or in the Bikepark Schladming. From flow trails and downhill lines to beginner areas: the two bike parks are very versatile.
A highlight of the Dachstein region is the Grassl Trail: after you have mastered the challenging ascent of over 100 m, the 1.87 km long downhill tour starts into the valley. In between, it's worth taking a break in nature - with the best photo motif you can find.
Things are also family-friendly outside the park. The 26 tours in the region vary from easy to moderately difficult and offer lots of fun for the kids.
Around Graz: culture and MTB trails
With an old town that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Graz itself is worth a visit. In addition, the MTB tours all around are a delight. The Enzi Trail, a 19 km long mountain bike route, starts north of Graz at Hilmteich and leads to Stephanienwarte over root passages and smaller jumps. The popular Westside Trails at Plabutsch impress with two rapid descents, Knight-Rider and Short-West.

The area around the 1445-metre-high mountain offers several single trails, most of which are classified as difficult. You can get up the mountain under your own steam or by cable car.
