The cool water in the Elbe floodplains is the focus of this bike route. Especially during the hot summer months, a dip in the inviting blue lakes around Scharnebeck offers a welcome refreshment.

The Lüneburg Heath is especially a striking attraction for tourists during the bloom period. But even outside the high season, this landscape holds great charm and is always worth a visit. The route takes us up to 168 m in height, making it one of the more athletic routes by Hamburg standards.

This cycling route follows the Aller cycle path along the winding loops of the beautiful river and takes us through the floodplain landscape of the Lintelner Geest and the edge of the Lüneburg Heath to Rethem and then back along the south bank with the best views.
