Schöne Wanderung durch verschiedene Landschaften und entlang von historischen Bergbau-Stationen. Die 7 Kugelbahnen (1 fehlt) sind für Kinder und Erwachsene eine nette Abwechslung und teilen den ca 10 km langen Weg in kurze Abschnitte ein. An den Stationen sind interessante Texte und Hörstationen. Perfekt ausgeschildert!
Zwischen Birnbaumteich und Station 7 ist der Weg nur schwer mit Kinderwagen zu bewältigen (aber mit Mühen machbar, wenn er geländegängig ist).

Die Route ist zwar schön naturbelassen, mit viel Felsformationen und Aussichten, aber teilweise mit heftigen kurzen Aufstiegen und Abstiegen... Der Weg hoch zum Hoppelberg ist wirklich eine kleine Herausforderung und sollte nicht unterschätzt werden. Wobei auch ein Stück des Hauptweges kurz bevor man auf den Schotterweg kommt, wirklich steil nach unten geht.

Wenn man sich die Stempelkästen ein bisschen anders aufteilt, lässt sich diese Runde auch gut als Rundweg laufen. Wir sind am Kyffhäuser Denkmal gestartet und bis zum Gietenkopf gelaufen, von da aus wieder zum Denkmal. Waren ca. 10 km.
