Nature trails in South Tyrol

On a section of the Merano High Mountain Path, the route passes through the Pfossental Valley, which is enclosed by high mountain peaks. Along the way, we enjoy great views and learn quite a bit about the production of flavorful alpine cheese and about nature.

The idea behind the route is to showcase the landscape and cultural differences of this area located at the border between two very different communities.

In the Gadertal lies the beautiful village of Campill with the hamlets of Misci and Seres. Here you can enjoy a lovely mill route.

Which tracks belong to which animals? How far does a hare jump? And how heavy is a deer antler? At these and many more questions, we find answers at 13 exciting experience stations.

We follow in the footsteps of prehistoric reptiles that even left footprints here! What might the Earth have looked like back then?

Mit der Seilbahn fährt man bequem auf 1342 Meter. Von der Station geht es auf den Wanderweg 27a in Richtung Eggerhöfe. Nach 5 Minuten kommt die Abzweigung zum Walderlebnispfad in Sicht.  Hier kann man auf Schautafeln und an Erlebnisstationen vieles über den Lebensraum Wald lernen. Die Strecke ist für die ganze Familie geeignet und kinderwagentauglich. Endpunkt ist wieder die Seilbahn-Station.
