Waldretter Trail - a great hiking trail for the whole family The 14-kilometer hiking trail leads through the beautiful forests of the Waldakademie in Wershofen.

This shortened variant of the Fürstin-Margaretha-Weg offers the hiker a relaxed immersion in the cozy forests of the Adenau region combined with impressive panoramic views over the Upper Ahr Valley.

An aristocratically beautiful hike through the former Duchy of Arenberg invites you to discover the history of Fürstin Margaretha. The short route is a family-friendly shortened variant of the Fürstin-Margaretha-Weg.

The 4.5 km long circular route passes the "Booser Eifelturm" (currently closed) and the two "Booser Maars". Information panels provide information about volcanism as well as the local animal and plant life.

On an old pilgrimage path, following the traces of Saint Jodokus. A visit to the pilgrimage chapel St. Jost and the "Black Madonna" offers inner reflection.

"Watch out that you don't encounter the 'Stumpfarm'!" - What this phrase means can be discovered along the approximately 14 km long "Stumpfarmweg" in Boos. Please note: On Saturday, 25.10.2025, a driven hunt will take place in the state and municipal forest Boos (south of the B410). The areas affected are below the Boos sports field up to the borders of Münk, Mannebach, and Arbach, where part of the "Stumpfarmweg" also runs. For safety reasons, please refrain from activities in the forest areas between 7 am and 3 pm and follow safety instructions. "Watch out that you don't encounter the Stumpfarm!"
