Pilgrim walks in France

The Via Tolosana is one of the four major French pilgrimage routes to Santiago and is considered the wildest and most adventurous of the four routes.

The Jakobsweg Speyer-Metz leads us from the old Roman town of Speyer through the Rhine Plain to the German Wine Route and into the Palatinate Forest. After crossing it, we reach Hornbach Monastery, enter Saarland and continue into French Lorraine, where our destination Metz is located.
