There is an error in the map. On the path out of Fremdingen the path comes to a sudden stop and there is a barrier where it ends, with a nearly vertical drop down to the road (25). My first photo shows the view of the barrier and the drop from the other side of the road.
The second photo shows my position marker at the barrier.
The third photo shows the new correct route, leading to a tunnel under the road.

Community
Da wir eine große Pilgergruppe (ca. 20 Personen allen Alters) sind, und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln für jeweils ein Wochenende anreisen, planen wir unsere Strecken etwas anders als die empfohlenen Etappen des Mosel-Caminos.
Leider hat die DB uns mal wieder im Stich gelassen, so dass wir unser Vorhaben ändern mussten.
Anstatt von Bernkastel-Kues starten wir unseren Pilgerweg von Osann-Monzel um in Klausen zu übernachten.
Also nur ca. 11 km - nun denn!
Bestes Pilgerwetter, tolle Aussichten, schöne Rastplätze, Gebete und Lieder (mit Guitarlele) im Gepäck.
In Klausen angekommen, feiern wir nachmittags in der Wallfahrtskirche einen Pilgergottesdienst mit, in der Eberhardsklause (toll!!!) wird Quartier bezogen, in "Marmanns Gastronomie" essen wir lecker, und sitzen dort gemütlich draußen bis ca. 22.00 Uhr.
Am anderen Morgen - oh, Schreck - Dauerregen bei 12°.
Gehört zum Pilgern auch dazu!
Der Plan: Die ca. 27 km bis Schweich pilgern, und dann mit der DB wieder Richtung Koblenz.
Aber das Wetter ist so schlecht, dass wir als Gruppe beschließen ab Klüsserath mit dem Bus nach Schweich zu "pilgern".
Also wieder nur ca. 10 km.
Macht nichts, denn im wunderschönen Weinatrium Wallerath in Schweich kehren wir ein, und genießen bei leckerem Essen und Wein den Abschluss von zwei intensiven, guttuenden Tagen.
Da die DB wieder Verspätung hat (na, wenigstens kommt die Bahn), erreichen wir unseren Heimatbahnhof bei Koblenz erst um ca. 21.00 Uhr.
