Long-distance hiking trails in Asia

The mecca for long-distance hikers is the Himalayas, the highest mountain range in the world. Here you will find some of the toughest tours in the world, some with extreme climatic conditions and gruelling climbs. The Himalayas also offer more leisurely trekking tours, such as to Lo Manthang. Other long-distance trails can be found in India and Kyrgyzstan, for example.
